Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and help drive the development and deployment of our fixed asset trading platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for automating and streamlining the software development lifecycle, from development to production.

Key Responsibilities:

Automate and streamline the software development lifecycle, from development to production, using tools such as GitLab.
Develop and maintain deployment pipelines that are secure, reliable, and scalable.
Work with the development and QA teams to ensure that the platform is deployed and maintained in an efficient and effective manner.
Implement and maintain infrastructure as code, using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet or similar.
Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance, identifying and resolving issues as needed.
Implement and maintain security best practices, including network security, access controls, and data encryption.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in DevOps, and recommend new approaches and technologies as needed.
Develop and maintain documentation, including deployment pipelines, infrastructure configurations, and security policies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5-10 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong background in automation and infrastructure as code.
Strong knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools and practices.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex DevOps concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
